The TODAY Show episode that aired this morning, April 21, 2008, was all about the hot sunglass trends for 2008 and oversized is in! They debuted the Versace sunglasses, Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses and Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses. The Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses are popular amongst young Hollywood right now. The stylish colors to look for are Black-Tortoise, Black and White. According to the TODAY Show, if you have a round face shape, then you would want to buy the square-shaped Versace frames and if you have an oblong face shape, you would want to buy the Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses.
Fashion tip: When you buy your Ray-Ban Aviators, be sure that your eyebrows cannot be seen above the top of the sunglasses.

They had stylish models strutting their stuff on the catwalk, modeling the new eyewear and sunwear styles of Adensco, Armani Exchange, Banana Republic, Hugo Boss, Carrera, Christian Dior, Chesterfield, Diesel, Denim, Emporio Armani. Emozioni, Fossil, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, JLo, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, La Strada, Liz Claiborne, Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Max Mara, Nine West, Oxydo, Valentino and Yves Saint Laurent. Safilo was also honored to have Carson Kressley make a celebrity appearance to support and promote the 2008 collections.

Vision Expo East was held in New York City this past weekend, April 11-13, and the celebrities were out in full force, supporting the new 2008 eyewear and sunwear collections. Eli Manning (2008 Super Bowl Quarterback), Jordan Sparks (2007 American Idol Winner) and Mario Lopez (Dancing with the Stars celebrity contestant and MTV?s America?s Best Dance Crew host) were at the Revolution Eyewear booth, supporting the new Ed Hardy sunglasses collection. They were kind enough to take pictures and sign autographs for many of their fans. Jordan Sparks was attempting to save her voice for the American Idol tour, but she was kind enough to chat it up with one of our FramesDirect.com managers, who said, ?She was so humble and sweet as pie.?
