Safilo really took the eyewear industry to a whole new level at Vision Expo East in New York City last week, with their amazing fashion runway that they had constructed inside the Jacob Javits Convention Center. They had stylish models strutting their stuff on the catwalk, modeling the new eyewear and sunwear styles of Adensco, Armani Exchange, Banana Republic, Hugo Boss, Carrera, Christian Dior, Chesterfield, Diesel, Denim, Emporio Armani. Emozioni, Fossil, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, JLo, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, La Strada, Liz Claiborne, Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Max Mara, Nine West, Oxydo, Valentino and Yves Saint Laurent. Safilo was also honored to have Carson Kressley make a celebrity appearance to support and promote the 2008 collections.
