Fatal weak link in the frame design.

Good looking, comfortable with a fatal weak link in the frame design.
After less a month of normal use, lifting the glasses from my head, they came apart!
On closer examination I saw that the metal eyeglass frames where connected to the metal hinges by a very thin rigid plastic "U" section. The "designer" of these glasses deserves a sound beating. These are programmed to fail, with material fatigue, in a short time of normal use.
I have designed consumer products for over 30 years and taught industrial design at university level. This designer deserves a resounding "F" for a failing grade.
