the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s… And not just designs inspired by those looks but actual frames hugely successful in earlier decades.
Materials are lighter, colors are in some cases updated and the frames are perhaps a couple of millimeters smaller than originally, but the styles pictured here are true reincarnations of blockbusters from the past.

Cazal 607, from Eastern States Eyewear and Ultra Palm Optical, was first introduced in the early 1980s and became a national phenomenon worn by countless entertainers and athletes. In fact, it was so popular Cazal built an additional factory in Germany just to keep up with demand from the U.S. The modern version is accented with the same gold metal temple trim used in the original. The new style, however, has a vertical lens depth that’s 4mm shorter.
