Theyre baaaaack
by popular demand. Bold, oversize eyeglass frames from
the 60s, 70s and 80s
And not just designs inspired by those looks but actual frames hugely successful in earlier decades.
Materials are lighter, colors are in some cases updated and the frames are perhaps a couple of millimeters smaller than originally, but the styles pictured here are true reincarnations of blockbusters from the past.
The new Cazal sunglass collection is ideal for individuals looking for larger fashion sunglasses. In response to customer demand, we designed innovative side shields for two of the styles,"
says Brad Besner, Ultra/Palm co-president.
Cazal 607, from Eastern States Eyewear and Ultra Palm Optical, was first introduced in the early 1980s and became a national phenomenon worn by countless entertainers and athletes. In fact, it was so popular Cazal built an additional factory in Germany just to keep up with demand from the U.S. The modern version is accented with the same gold metal temple trim used in the original. The new style, however, has a vertical lens depth thats 4mm shorter.
