Single Vision Prescription Lenses

Designed for most wearers, these lenses are usually used to correct nearsightedness or farsightedness, but not both. Single vision lenses also correct astigmatism, and they are used for reading glasses as well.

Bifocal Lenses

Bifocal lenses offer visual correction both at near and far distances. These are a popular choice for people who need to add readers to their prescription, as the top of the lens is created for distance and the lower part for close-up work. Progressive Lenses

Offering the most natural type of vision correction, progressive lenses provide a smooth transition from distance to close vision, and everything in between.The lens increases in power from top to bottom, resulting in a smooth visual transition. A frequent alternative to bifocals, progressive lenses have no visible dividing line. First-time wearers may require a little adjustment time as the eyes become used to changes in peripheral vision, but once the adjustment is made, progressive lenses are typically preferred over bifocal lenses.   • Trifocal Lenses

    Trifocals improve vision at near, far and middle distances. Like bifocals, the top of the lens provides distance vision and the lower section corrects near vision. Trifocals, however, contain a third section between the upper and lower portions that allows clearer vision from an intermediate distance.

  • Computer Lenses

    Computer glasses curtail the unpleasant symptoms of eye strain due to staring at the screen, including headaches, light sensitivity and more. Computer lenses usually contain a slight magnification, anti-reflective coating and either a blue light filter or high-energy visible light (HEV).

  • Safety Lenses

    To help prevent work injuries, some employers require impact-, flammability-resistant safety glasses that are compliant with industry standards. carries durable non-prescription and prescription safety glasses designed protect the eyes from work and sports hazards.
