Can I Recycle Eyeglasses?

Did you know that it's impossible to recycle out-of-date prescription lenses? Creating lenses with excellent optical quality requires the use of pure materials from the start. The next best thing is repurposing.

We're partnering with New Eyes for the Needy to send your out-of-date eyewear to someone overseas who can really use it. This is often the only pair of eyeglasses that person will ever own. Sending in your old eyewear is a simple process that makes a huge difference in someone's life.

What to do with Old Eyeglasses

So, where can I donate eyeglasses? All you need to do is mail your old prescription glasses in a padded envelope to:

New Eyes for the Needy
Dept. FramesDirect.com
549 Millburn Avenue
Short Hills, NJ 07078
