Jill Stuart eyeglasses are created by a designer born to be a fashion maven. Her parents worked in New York's famous garment district. Jill's mother Lynn designed clothes for Hollywood stars like Natalie Wood, Lucille Ball and Sheila MacRae. At the tender age of 15, Jill had already designed and sold a collection of chokers and hobo bags to Bloomingdale's. She then attended the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design before opening her first store in 1988. Her frilly, colorful designs found a niche audience at first but exploded the world over when they were chosen as the costumes for the breakout film Clueless in 1995.
