Nike Eyewear
In partnership with Nike, the world-renowned sports brand, Marchon Eyewear introduces Nike Eyewear. The new line, which complements the Nike performance collection of sports sunwear introduced in 1997, consists of 10 ophthalmic frames and six sunglasses, all featuring frames made of Flexon, the memory metal. Six of the frames are offered with polycarbonate clip-on sunlenses. All styles are equipped with the brand's signature occipital fit, which ensures that temples grasp the head snugly. Shapes range from rectangles, semi-rimless ovals, cat eyes and soft pillows in brushed maple wood, walnut, denim and gunmetal for the ophthalmics to butterflies, rectangles and other geometrics in espresso and steel for the sun. Flash and polarized lenses are available for the sunglasses.
"Nike doesn't just have a history," says Nike founder Phil Knight. "It has a heritage. Unlike many of its competitors, Nike was founded by athletes dedicated to designing products to meet the needs of sports figures at the highest level of competition."
Sporty Nike frames incorporates Flexon, a flexible and durable patented metal alloy. Unlike conventional metal frames, Nike Flexon frames are nearly impossible to twist out of shape and are resistant to metal fatigue. Nike Max Lens delivers unparalleled optical clarity.
The performance collection consists of 14 styles with such features as Nike's patented Max Lens technology, which minimizes distortion and provides a larger field of vision, flying lens technology, which promotes airflow and prevents fogging, and ventilated nosepads. Each sports style is designed specifically to help improve performance, whether golfing, running or extreme sporting.
