Valentino Eyewear
Sāfilo Group launches a completely new line of Valentino sunglasses, consisting of 13 styles in metal, including stainless steel and plastic. Five of the styles are specifically for men.
The collection, which according to Sāfilo reflects the spirit of the Valentino spring/summer ?98 fashion collection, borrows details, colors and finishes from the belts, fabrics and decorative elements used in the apparel. For example, one frame style features concave sides resembling folds in fabric. Another frame duplicates a jacquard print used in the clothing. The lenses are made of glass or polycarbonate.
"In creating the new Valentino eyewear collection, we have followed the Valentino tradition of bringing design to the limit with the finest materials and craftsmanship." says Claudio Gottardi, senior executive vice president, Sāfilo USA.
The Valentino eyeglasses collection seduces adults as well, with its bold shapes and suprising colors. Models in metal, marked by large shapes and temples in acetate, are luxuriously feminine.
