FramesDirect.com was founded by 2 optometrists in Houston, TX in 1996 - we were online before Google! The founding doctors Cooper and Hodgson were passionate about setting the highest standard for prescription eyewear online. In 2008, the company moved to Austin, TX. Since then we have continued to grow, with well over 1 million happy customers.

Chief Executive Officer
In addition to his role as CEO of FramesDirect.com, Roy also serves as CEO to our sister company EyeBuyDirect.com, which he founded in 2005. Roy has experience in medical and technology fields, having worked at both Novartis Institutes Plc. and Physiome Sciences Inc.
Chief Operating Officer
As COO of FramesDirect.com, Brad manages the day-to-day operations of the business as well as the executive team. Brad has 30 years of experience in operations, sales, and finance at companies like PepsiCo, Accenture, Dell, and Cardinal Health.
Phil has over 20-years of leadership experience in Ecommerce and Direct to Consumer marketing with some of the premier multi-channel retailers including Lands' End, Harry & David, and Orvis. He moved to Austin in 2014 to lead the Ecommerce team at Frames Direct.
Craig was FramesDirect.com’s first official employee, when the company was founded back in 1996. As operations manager, Craig oversees the entire customer experience, from ordering to delivery, and is also responsible for shipping logistics, staff training, and recruiting. Craig has been a Certified Optician since 1995.
Clotilde Bedoya joined FramesDirect.com in 2010, by way of Paris. She began her career working for Cartier, followed by years of experience in the eyewear industry with roles at both Safilo and Luxottica. Clotilde holds a master’s degree in marketing from the highly renowned EDHEC Business School.
Jennifer began her career with FramesDirect.com as a part-time worker when she was 16 years old. She continued working for FramesDirect.com as she studied for her B.S. in Health and Wellness from Texas A&M University. Jennifer has been with the company ever since and is now an industry veteran.
Rinku is responsible for e-commerce technology infrastructure stabilization, production releases, and the planning and staffing of technology projects. Rinku comes with 15+ years of experience in managing software development projects, including managing software development and quality control teams as well as teams of SEOs and business analysts.
Manager of Merchandising and Inventory
Shelley joined FramesDirect in 2012 after working 18 years in entertainment marketing management. She oversees the company's product catalog and inventory operations, and maintains relationships with key suppliers.
With a long career in project management at companies like Compaq Computer Corporation and Trilogy, Inc., Glenda joined FramesDirect.com in 2010. Managing more than the daily operations of the office, Glenda's responsibilities span from recruiting and human resources to facilities management, overseeing budgets, and vendor relationships.
Lead Front-End Developer
Bill has over 18 years experience energizing brands and improving the ways businesses connect with their customers online. Since 2011, Bill has served as FramesDirect.com's Lead Front-End Developer and manages user experience, testing, analysis and 3rd party integration.
Customer Service Supervisor
After serving 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, Travis embarked on a career in the optical field and has never looked back. Over a decade Travis learned every aspect of the business from lab technician to Retail Manager. Now, as FramesDirect.com's Customer Service Supervisor, Travis oversees all our on-staff opticians.
