Frame is okay, I didn’t like it because it’s too light for me, it keep rising down from my nose. I didn’t like the fact it has too much blue light that reflected on flash. The blue is too visible. I preferred heavier frame that fits well on my face.

I recently bought my second pair of Kate Spade Karlyn frames from frames.direct. I am myopic and “at the age” of progressives. I read a lot and need/want a larger frame that will have a good size reading lens as well as the distance lens I need. The frames are not glamorous but neither are they ugly. When as a young adult I was choosing frames, large frames were in style. They may be less in style these days but, as I said in the title, these are certainly not ugly and, for a person like me who needs distance and reading glasses, they are perfect. I bought the first pair a couple years ago with a slightly different prescription. Since then I bought frames in Rome that had been made in France. They are glamorous but they are almost useless because the lens is too small. That’s why I re-bought the same frames that I had before. I was taking no chances.

I was looking for a bigger frame that would still be attractive. I have had two successful Kate Spade frames in the past so I began my search with her. I needed a frame that would be large enough to take a progressive with a -.9 near sightedness and a +2.5 for reading. I wanted plenty of space for the distance part for driving;but also plenty of space for the reading part since I am a teacher. These frames work perfectly. I made some comment to a friend about their being utilitarian and she replied that they are much more attractive than my last two pairs. Actually she's right. Yes, I would recommend them to anyone. They fit well and I am very pleased. I am debating whether or not to use another pair of these same frames for sunglasses.
