Nylon is a thermoplastic material that is blended in order to counteract its initial brittleness. Nylon blends are lightweight, stable, and resistant to breakage. Nylon has less of a tendency to "bleed" it's plasticizers resulting in great hypoallergenic properties. It can be blended with polyamides,grilamid, or trogamid.

Enjoy the frames - Written by NickApr 26, 2018

The WX Contour frames are great. They look stylish and give the protection I need for my line of work. The lenses don't seem to be polarized, they don't pass polarization test on monitors screens windows etc.... I will not order polarized again. But I will order these great transition lenses again in these or another WX frame.
