perfect the first time, this is my 3rd set of wileyX. was delivered faster than my local eyglass store. When i clicked on "place order" I had a phone call in about 10 minutes to confirm my prescription.

VERY HAPPY I shopped here! I am a KLUTZ, I need glasses that are strong and truly scratch resistant. I originally bought one pair of Wiley's with the light rust lens, was so blown away with the clarity and fit I bought another pair, diff model, with the darker bronze lenses (it gets brutally bright on the beach in southern Florida) Everyone has commented on how nice they look, and they will NEVER fall off during heavy activity (like jumping waves in my fast boat)

These are perfect for me. The frames are light, they fit well and the lenses are the proper tint as well as the prescription was well executed.

I usually steer away from anything that is not Oakley but gave these a chance because they looked to be of a similar style to what I like and were recommended by other military members. I got them with my prescription lenses and anti-glare with grey lenses color.I mostly use them for driving but I couldn't be happier. They fit as well as my Oakley's and look great with their own unique style. Any worry I had went out the window the first time I put them on.

I purchased these because they are literally the only APEL frames available that can be fitted with prescription lenses. I have been wearing the glasses for about two weeks now and I wear them as my everyday, all day glasses. The frames are matte black and the lenses are progressive prescription with extra-active transition, anti-glare, anti-scratch and anti-fog. I will start with the good. The frames look very nice and seem to be very durable. The lenses are extremely clear and the transition from light to dark is great. The distance correction in the lenses seem to be about the same as other glasses I have used with the same prescription. The top outer portion of the lenses have Wiley X scribed very small into the lens which looks very nice. Now for the bad. The shape of the frames are not good for active wear because the top of the lenses touch your brow and become saturated in sweat causing severely decreased visibility. This problem could be easily fixed with minor changes in the shape of the frame. The pads that sit across the bridge of your nose have very little cushioning and the placement of the pads do not work well with the placement of the top of the lenses/brow area. With some minor changes and maybe changeable nose pads this could be a great frame. I have used most of the APEL eye wear available and these are one of the most un-ergonomic shaped frames I have used. The lenses are extremely thick and heavy. Much heavier than other lenses I have with same prescription and material. Like I said earlier in this review the distance(top portion of the lenses} work like others I have used. But, the reading part(bottom portion of the lenses) do not work well at all. I have to constantly strain to read things that I can easily read using other glasses with the same prescription. The frames irritated my temples severely and I had to install pads around the frames that did provide some comfort and relief.
