WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF NUANCE AUDIO™ GLASSES VS OTHER "OTC" OR TRADITIONAL HEARING AIDS?

There are several differences between Nuance Audio™ Glasses and traditional hearing aids:   • Style: Nuance Audio™ Glasses relies on EssilorLuxottica R&D skills, craftmanship capabilities and design expertise. As a result, Nuance Audio™ Glasses seamlessly integrates its technology within a stylish frame.   • Comfort: People who use other OTC or traditional hearing aids tend to complain about discomfort in the ear canal. Nuance Audio™ Glasses offers vision and hearing benefits in one seamless product. The open-ear solution eliminates the discomfort commonly associated with inside-the-ear traditional aids.   • Directionality: This allows the listener to focus on the speaker they are facing, when used in "Frontal" audio mode. For those times when you prefer to experience your surroundings without emphasizing the front, Nuance Audio™ Glasses offers also the “All-around” audio mode, which amplifies without utilizing the directional algorithm.   • Simplicity: As no fitting/configuration are required, you can adjust your Nuance Audio™ Glasses settings from your Nuance Audio™ App very easily. Nuance Audio™ Glasses has been designed to be very simple to use and does not require customers to be tech-savvy. You can easily configure Nuance Audio™ Glasses via the companion Nuance Audio™ App choosing the (i) preset program (four options available) that best suits your profile, as well as further personalizing the hearing support by playing with (ii) "volume", (iii) "background noise" and (iv) "audio mode" settings. CAN I CHOOSE DIFFERENT LENSES ON THE GLASSES?

By default, Nuance Audio™ Glasses are equipped with plano Transitions® lenses (GenS), featuring a gray tint on the shiny black frame and an emerald tint on the shiny burgundy frame. However, prescription optical lenses can be fitted to Nuance Audio™ Glasses frames as an optional upgrade, tailored to your prescription and preferences.

If your hearing loss makes it hard to hear loud noises, this hearing aid may not be your best choice without help from a professional. If this hearing aid does not help you enough, ask for help from a hearing healthcare professional.

IMPORTANT! The Nuance Audio Glasses are a medical device. The Charging Pad is to be used as accessory to the Nuance Audio Glasses. Keep the Glasses and the Charging Pad away from children. The Nuance Audio Charging Pad accessory is intended to enable the air conduction hearing aid functionality in terms of charging the hearing aid. The Charging Pad is used for wirelessly charging only the Nuance Audio Glasses. Nuance Audio Glasses and Charging Pad may interfere with medical devices such as but not limited to pacemakers or other implantable devices, consult your doctor.

To setup the Nuance Audio Glasses an email address and a mobile phone are required to run the Nuance Audio App (free download, QR code to download printed inside the box). May require updates to be installed from time to time, including prior to first use. For further information scan the QR code on last page of the User Guide.

Nuance Audio Glasses integrate one rechargeable Li-ion battery. Charge the Nuance Audio Glasses at least every 6 months. Use the supplied USB-C Charging Cable or other cables USB-C type, C to C, with compatible wall plugs/adapter following the indications in the Instructions for Use. It is prohibited to connect the Charging Pad to a wall plug/adapter that is not certified for the market in which the Charging Pad is marketed, and that it has not been tested and approved according to national and local standards. The wall plug/adapter must have a minimum output level of DC5V/1A.
