After a few years of use, my Aristar frame broke. I could not easily schedule an office visit my eye doctor. I took a chance, paid about $40 less, removed the middleman, and received my favorite Aristar frame in a timely manner by mail. I am pleased and will use FramesDirect again.

I have been using this brand of frame for my progressive lenses since my cataract surgery in 2006. I own multiple frames of this type. I am very particular about the quality of my vision and I tend to be very hard on my frames. I have used these frames for transition lenses and for straight sunglasses. I wear them throughout the day. The nose pads are comfortable, the frame itself is solid and strong and the arms are strong and supportive. It is a comfortable, durable and tough frame, stands up to my abuse as an avid fisherman and the spring loaded arm supports allow the frames to stay in adjustment through repetitive placements on and off my face. I highly recommend this frame for its price and performance.

I'm very happy with the frames, lenses, and the total process working with Frames Direct. I was a little worried about the IP distance measurement ( I found the other needed measurements on my old frames ). I did the measurement manually but was worried that I might be off. I found a utility online that helps do the measurement from a photo and I got the same number as manually so I was happy. The glasses came and are great!
