The downloadable Facebook View app serves as the Stories Rx Wayfarer’s operating system and content sharing tool, taking its cues from your “Hey Facebook” voice prompts, and then allowing you to post your creations via social media platforms. Ray-Ban blends these functions inconspicuously into the signature Wayfarer sunglasses in this prescription version, keeping them lightweight and comfortable with performance plastic construction, and retaining their classic chunky shark fin temples for the throwback look you love. Choose single vision or progressive (no-line multifocal) lenses in your prescription. The Ray-Ban Stories Wayfarers Rx sunglasses include a portable charging case and a USB-C cable.

Observe and Capture: Dual 5MP camera shoots high-res photos (2592 x 1944 pixels) and videos (1184 x 1184 pixels, 30 frames per second). It auto-adjusts to the light around you and alerts the subject/s you’re recording with an external-facing capture LED.
Listen and Speak: Discreet open-ear speakers with surround sound offer exceptional clarity, and three built-in microphones capture sound from all directions, for rich audio quality on calls and in video recordings. Pause your song (or adjust the volume, or skip to another track), snap a photo, or make a video with a single touch to the responsive touchpad in the temple arms.
Connect and Share: Download the Facebook View app in the App store or Google Play. Edit your content and share what you create instantly to Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, and easily import, view, and manage your photo and video libraries.
Repeat: The included portable charging case comes with a USB-C charging cable and lets you keep your shades powered up on the go, providing three additional charges for your sunglasses. The fully charged Stories Wayfarers captures up to 50 videos or up to 200 photos. The case charges to 100% in 180 minutes, the frames to 100% in 70 minutes, and to 50% in a half hour.

The Stories are fun. Music is clear, but no bass. I think that'd be hard to do with such small speakers that aren't actually in your ear. Pictures are pretty good, but not as good as any smartphone. That's to be expected based on the 5 megapixel specs. I have not used the phone feature yet. The Facebook View app is pretty lousy. I've had trouble keeping the Stories paired to the app after I shut them down and turn them on again. Also, the app makes me go to WiFi mode in order to download pictures from the Stories to the app. That makes no sense. If you're out and about you will be on your cellular network. I've tried everything and nothing works so far. I even tried using my wife's new phone with my Stories and the View app and that didn't work so it's an app issue I guess. Please note that the Stories cannot be adjusted for a better fit on your face. You can go to brick and morter stores to try them on perhaps.
