Transitions® Signature™ lenses are every day lenses for everyone. However, if you’re looking for photochromic lenses that will darken inside of a car, you’ll need to order Transitions® Drivewear™ lenses.
Duraclear Premium Anti-Reflective Lens Coating
Reduces eye fatigue from glare
Anti-reflective (AR) coating is a clear coating that minimizes the glare on the front and back of your lenses. AR is a must-have on coating any pair of glasses, since it reduces eye strain and has easy to clean (super hydrophobic) properties. Comes with Standard lens option.

Deflects harmful high-energy visible (HEV) artificial blue light emitted by digital devices
FramesDirect.com offers a choice of precision engineered lens coatings that can deflect a significant portion of harmful blue/violet light, leaving your eyes fresh, even after a long day at the office. You don't need to have a prescription to get these lenses. This lens option also provides scratch resistant and anti-glare properties. Comes with Premium lens option
Blocks 100% of harmful UVA/UVB rays
Cumulative damage from prolonged exposure to sunlight causes 3.2 million people to go blind every year. That's why eyecare professionals always recommend protecting your eyes from UV rays any time you go outside. Our clear, protective lens coating blocks 100% of harmful UVA and UVB rays to help protect against:
- Cancer and premature aging of the skin around your eyes and eyelids
- Damage to your cornea, lens, and other parts of your eye that can cause vision problems
- Development of certain types of cataracts
A little protection now will help you see long into the future. Because UV protection is so important, we add the UV coating for no additional charge to all polycarbonate and hi-index lenses.
